Family Get-together

It was since a long time we had a get together,  so we kids decided to have a party on  Gandhi Jayanthi day. We planned for a get-together with all my relatives on Sept 30, 2012. The treat was sponsored by my uncle in his den. The party started by 6 p.m in the eve.

Deenu,Chinnu,Jubin,Aarthi,Joe,Akash,Athithi,Anu,Ritu,Shawn,Belina and I had a wonderful time over there . We enjoyed each and every minute that passed us. We had a grant dinner by 8 p.m and later on ate so many icecreams. We dumped a family packs of ice cream in a bowl and ate together. Then we played hide and seek, volleyball . We neither missed the opportunity to have fun in gym.

However old we grow, we still share the closeness we did when we were  young of which we feel too proud of as this is simply impossible in this modern world. Have to be a part of my sweet family and I thank God for giving me  lovely cousins. They are my breath to whom I share my joys and sorrows :)

Weekend With my kutty cousins

I Was eagerly waiting for a weekend after the tough days from Monday to Friday . My plans for the weekend is to have a deep sleep for at least 12 hours, helping my mom and to watch television. But to my shock my aunt called me early morning and said that her daughter had term exam and she wanted me to make  her study  for the social exam and I was totally upset that I cant enjoy my weekends. Soon  all my cousins  came to my home and rounded me asking me to teach each one of them. Both the days went on  teaching them Maths, Science, G.K, History and English .  The end of Sunday I felt so happy from the bottom of  my heart for sharing my Knowledge with those kids by telling them examples for each and everything they learnt and making them feel happy .

Each and every minute I spent with them and taught them reminded me all my looties and funs which I had during my childhood and I am sure I missed those days . Childhood always rock and I wanna go back to my childhood and once again do all the mischief but as the life goes on I know its  not possible.
“When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind.”Patrick Rothfuss
